    Wythe County, Virginia is located in the southwestern portion of the state.  This was one of the early counties and was on the main trail west so many immigrants passed through this section of the state.  The collection of volumes on this CD covers a wide period of time and a critical period in the westward movement of people.  Each of the five volumes of materials below are indexed for ease of research.
